What's in Your Emergency Upland Pack?
The off season was fun, but we are ramping back up for our second upland season with @GSPS_oftheFORCE! The family is venturing WEST to South Dakota in Early November to take on pheasant country! We rented a tiny home and will be on 600+ acres of private land for a week. We will be about an hour out from civilization which means: unplug, hunt and relax but if we find ourselves in an emergency situation a 24 hour vet is over 70 miles from us. After Rey's run in with barbed wire on opening day last year we knew we had to prepare a dog first aid kit if an emergency arises. Here is what we decided to pack: -Saline Wound Wash: Wash out the gaping wound. We were told by our friends at Apple Lake Animal Hospital that using hydrogen peroxide on dogs is a big NO.
